Smart Cities Norway initiative during Arendalsuka is emphasized as a great opportunity to promote domestic smart city projects. The Slovakian ambassador conveyed challenges and opportunities learned from the projects, agenda 2030, successful smart city cases, domestic and regional strategies in addition to the importance of cross border cooperation.
Signed agreement
Smart Cities Norway and Smart Cities Klub Slovakia has signed an agreement. The agreement was reached after the state visit of Slovakia’s president in 2018. Smart Cities Norway is hosting a new conference march 2020 which promote innovative startups and corporations from a number of countries. Slovakia value the opportunity of showcasing national smart city initiatives due to the large number of domestic innovative corporations.
